Job summary

Digital Talent Hunters in Portugal is seeking an entrepreneurial professional to own the development of the Portuguese market, bridging Belgian HQ with local suppliers.

You will identify new commercial opportunities, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into supplier specs. You travel within Portugal and occasionally to Belgium, with direct exposure to management and scope to shape the role as the market grows.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial professional with experience in sourcing, supplier management, project engineering or technical sales.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (or Dutch).
• Willing to travel within Portugal and occasionally to Belgium.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand the supplier network in Portugal.
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities in Portugal and across Europe.
• Manage projects from technical scoping and supplier qualification through production follow-up, quality control and on-time delivery.
• Act as the day-to-day link between Portuguese suppliers and the Belgian headquarters, ensuring alignment on priorities, capacity, quality and delivery.
• Work with engineering teams to assess technical feasibility and translate customer requirements into supplier specifications.
• Follow up on projects, commercial pipeline and supplier performance, reporting to management.
• Represent the company locally and build relationships and reputation to establish Portugal as a long-term growth market.
