Johnson & Johnson Geel is seeking a Polyvalent Technieker for a full-time shift position focused on preventive and corrective maintenance across production areas. You will ensure safe operation, analyze faults, and support the deployment of process automation enhancements at the Geel site.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with expertise in instrumentation, control systems, and GMP/safety standards. ERP and automation experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a technical field or equivalent by experience.
• Multidisciplinary technical profile with instrumentation and meet- & rule technology.
• Experience with process automation systems.
• Knowledge of DeltaV and PCS7 is a plus.
• Strong quality- and safety-awareness.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety requirements (ATEX, LOTO) are a plus.
• Experience with ERP like SAP (e-stream) is a plus.
• Analytical and systematic thinking.
• Structured and orderly.
• Good communication and a proactive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Perform urgent fault analyses and repairs across the site.
• Maintain safe operation of production installations.
• Prepare work orders; update shift logs.
• Prepare safety work permits and LOTO procedures.
• Overhaul components (mechanical seals, motors, pumps, cabinets).
• Carry out commissioning calibrations.
• Improve corrective maintenance with other services.
• Analyze and improve technical applications.
• Update PID and electrical diagrams as needed.
• Report quality deviations; ensure GMP compliance.
• Supervise external personnel on site.

In deze functie sta je in voor het curatief onderhoud van de productie afdelingen over onze volledige site in Geel. Je zorgt voor een correcte en veilige werking van de productieinstallaties zodat de continuiteit gewaarborgd blijft. Verantwoordelijkheden

• Uitvoeren van urgente storingsanalyses en herstellingen (mechanisch, meet- & regeltechnisch en automatisatie) over de hele site om de productie continuiteit te kunnen garanderen.
• Dit met de nodige aandacht voor veiligheid en qualiteit.
• Opstellen en aanvullen van werkorderverslagen zodat werken vlot kunnen worden opgevolgd over shiften heen.
• Voorbereidingen treffen voor veilig werken zoals: werkvergunningen en LOTO’s.
• Revisie van onderdelen (mechanische dichting, motoren, pompen, reductiekasten, kleppen, …), opzoeken en bestellen van (reserve)onderdelen.
• Uitvoeren van kalibraties bij indienstnames.
• Optimalisatie van curatief onderhoud in samenwerking met de andere technische diensten op site.
• Analyseren en verbeteren van technische toepassingen.
• Aanpassen van PID en elektrische schema’s doorgeven waar nodig.
• Vastgestelde afwijkingen inzake kwaliteit correct melden en deze tijdig en correct afhandelen.
• Aandacht voor GMP en correcte behandeling van compliance records om zo afwijkingen te vermijden.
• Begeleiden van externe medewerkers hier op site.

Kwalificaties

• Diploma: bachelor in een technische afstudeerrichting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• Multidisciplinair technisch profiel met expertise in instrumentatie en meet- & regeltechniek, mechanica, hydraulica en pneumatica.
• Ervaring met process automatisatie systemen.
• Kennis van DeltaV en PCS7 sturingsystemen zijn een meerwaarde.
• Sterk kwaliteits- en veiligheidsbewustzijn.
• Kennis van GMP- en veiligheids-eisen (ATEX, LOTO principe, ..) zijn een meerwaarde.
• Ervaring met courante softwarepakketten en ERP systemen zoals SAP (e-stream) zijn een meerwaarde.
• Analytisch en systematisch denkvermogen.
• Gestructureerd en ordelijk.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, verantwoordelijkheidszin en een positieve attitude.

The anticipated pay range and benefits for this position is:

• 3898EUR - 5274EUR bruto per maand
• An annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
