NATO is seeking a Deputy Project Officer to help manage a large IT modernization programme. You will help run plans, boards, budgets and reporting to turn a major initiative into controlled delivery. Leverage PRINCE2 discipline and surface risks early, then hand knowledge to the internal team.

Role requires strong delivery background, proficiency in Jira/ServiceNow/MS Project/SharePoint, and excellent English. NATO Secret clearance is advantageous. Hybrid work with around 50% on-site in Belgium.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of delivering projects/programmes.
• Proficient in one or more delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, PMI-PMP, SAFe).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; NATO clearance desirable.
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project and SharePoint.

Responsabilités

• Maintain project plans and status reports per PRINCE2 and governance rules.
• Prepare board packs and papers for project boards and steering committees.
• Own budget forecasting, variance reporting and portfolio dashboards.
• Consolidate RAID data and drive RIDAC reviews and escalations.
• Produce weekly/monthly portfolio status reports on scope, schedule and budget.
