Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Benelux is seeking a Plant Purchaser to manage end-to-end procurement in a cement plant setting. You will partner with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to ensure supply continuity and cost competitiveness across multiple sites.

The role requires 5–8 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering. Fluency in French (C2) and English (B1) is needed; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of procurement experience in a technical, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering-driven environment.
• French (C2) and English (min B1) are required.
• Master or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to support operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement improvements.
