Your mission
As a Plant Controller, you play a key role at the interface between Operations and Finance. You ensure transparency in operational performance, develop relevant management tools, and support various departments through data-driven analyses and recommendations. Leveraging your understanding of production processes, SAP data, and performance indicators, you actively contribute to improving the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of our site.
Key responsibilities
- Industrial Performance: Monitor key production indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting & KPIs: Develop and optimize performance dashboards and reporting tools.
- Data Quality: Ensure the reliability and consistency of data and reporting.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to enhance operational performance.
- Variance Analysis: Identify the root causes of performance deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and monitor optimization and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- SAP & Master Data: Analyze discrepancies in bills of materials, routings, and material consumption to improve data quality.
- Management Control & Forecasting: Participate in month-end closing activities, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Inventory Management: Analyze inventory variances and improve stock accuracy and reliability.
- Cross-Functional Projects: Promote data-driven decision-making and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Profile
- Education: Higher education degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in controlling within an industrial environment; experience within a Big Four firm is considered an asset.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Production Knowledge: Good understanding of production processes, KPIs, and operational challenges.
- Systems: Proficiency in SAP, Business Intelligence tools, and reporting solutions.
- Personality: Proactive, pragmatic, and equipped with excellent communication skills.
- Languages: Fluent in French or German, with a good command of English.
