ASCO Aerospace USA is seeking a Planning and Logistics Manager to align master planning with sales forecasts, manage MPS/MRP, and optimize material flow from purchasing to shipment.

The role leads the planning team, maintains master data, and drives lean initiatives, S&OP and performance metrics such as on-time delivery and inventory levels. Requires strong analytical skills and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with 5-10 years of experience, including 2+ years in Master Planning.
  • Proficient in ERP concepts and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities to manage complex schedules.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 is a plus.
  • Experience supervising planning and supply chain staff.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

  • Lead the Planning team to plan, organize, and coordinate site master planning activities.
  • Develop and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align manufacturing capacity with sales forecasts and customer demand.
  • Oversee and optimize the flow of material and information through the site from purchasing to shipment.
  • Ensure coherence and maintenance of all master data in the MRP system.
  • Identify bottlenecks and intervene where needed.
  • Drives lean production principles and S&OP processes.
  • Manage site and intercompany order management activities (Delivery coordination, MO/PO management).
  • Set up training in Procedures / Mapics and implement related industrial applications.
  • Mentor planning and supply chain personnel and monitor key metrics (on-time delivery, backorders, inventory).
  • Oversee Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing activities, 6S and visual management.

Description du poste

The Planning and Logistics Manager oversees production scheduling, warehouse operations, purchasing and inventory control. They bridge the gap between sales forecasts and shop floor execution, managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and coordinating teams to ensure the timely, cost-effective delivery of products while maintaining optimal stock levels.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Planning team to plan, organize, and coordinate site master planning activities.
    • Develop and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align manufacturing capacity with sales forecasts and customer demand.
    • Oversee and optimize the complete flow of material and information through the site, from raw material purchasing to shipment of assemblies.
    • Ensure coherence, correctness and maintenance of all master data in the MRP system.
    • Identify bottlenecks and intervene where needed.
    • Challenge production, identify and reveal opportunities for improvement to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize WIP and stock levels.
    • Implement and monitor flow and other lean production principles.
    • Facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning process, including demand review, supply review, and executive alignment.
    • Ensure production plans, material strategies, and capacity models support customer forecasts, backlog, and strategic business objectives.
  • Manage site and intercompany order management activities.
    • Delivery coordination to end customers and other Asco sites.
    • Manufacturing Order Management.
    • Purchase Order Management.
    • Setup & Training in Procedures / Mapics.
    • Implementation of related industrial applications.
    • Manage and mentor planning and supply chain personnel.
    • Monitor and report critical metrics like on-time delivery, backorder and inventory.
  • Manage the Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing activities.
    • Implementation of the 6S, physical flows & visual management tools.
    • Setup & Training in Procedures / Mapics.
    • Manage and mentor shipping and receiving personnel.
Profile:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business plus 5-10 years’ work experience, including at least two years in Master Planning preferred.

Skills / Experience:
  • Advanced understanding of ERP concepts.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple issues at a time.
  • Must possess the ability to plan and organize complex activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.
  • Good knowledge of AS9100, a plus.
  • Result oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Work well across all business functions.
  • People Manager and previous experience Supervising personnel.
  • Must be currently able to work in the United States.
