TXM Recruit Geel, Belgium is seeking an experienced Pipefitter for a 6-month Data Centre Construction project. You will install carbon steel and stainless pipework, assemble chilled water and condenser water systems, and read isometric drawings and P&IDs.

EU passport is essential; rotation 5/1 negotiable; accom and car/travel provided. Start End of Sept, immediate integration with Welders and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and P&IDs.
• Experience installing chilled water pipework.
• Experience with carbon steel piping systems.
• Familiar with Victaulic/grooved systems.
• Strong safety awareness and good communication.

Responsabilités

• Install carbon steel and stainless steel pipework.
• Assemble and install chilled water and condenser water systems.

• Install pipe supports, brackets and hangers.
• Fit valves, flanges, pumps and associated mechanical equipment.
• Align pipe spools ready for welding.
• Install grooved and flanged pipe systems.
• Carry out pressure testing and flushing activities.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with welders, mechanical supervisors and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Install carbon steel and stainless steel pipework.
• Assemble and install chilled water and condenser water systems.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs.
• Install pipe supports, brackets and hangers.
• Fit valves, flanges, pumps and associated mechanical equipment.
• Align pipe spools ready for welding.
• Install grooved (Victaulic) and flanged pipe systems.
• Carry out pressure testing and flushing activities where required.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with welders, mechanical supervisors and commissioning teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Industrial projects.
• Ability to read and work from isometric drawings.
• Experience installing chilled water pipework.
• Experience with carbon steel pipework.
• Familiar with Victaulic/grooved systems.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices.
• Good communication skills.
• EU Passport (essential).
