The University of Antwerp invites applications for a full-time doctoral scholarship holder in the field of Artificial Intelligence. You will work on continual graph learning, publish scientific articles, and assist with teaching and research tasks within the Department of Electronics and Information and Communication Technology.

The PhD starts January 1, 2027, with an initial one-year scholarship that can be renewed after positive evaluations for up to three additional years.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics or closely related field.
• Excellent study results and strong academic record.
• Teaching competences aligned with the University’s education vision.
• Research quality in line with university policies.
• Strong interest in machine learning and graph-based learning.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and defend a PhD thesis in continual graph learning.
• Publish scientific articles related to the research project.
• Carry out teaching and research support tasks for the Department of Electronics and Information and Communication Technology.
