A prestigious European university in Antwerp is seeking a Doctoral scholarship holder to focus on biomimetic echolocation and autonomous aerial robotics. The successful candidate will work on a PhD thesis related to an innovative UAV control project, publish research findings, and collaborate with peers. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering and a solid foundation in robotics and control theory. This position offers a scholarship with a dynamic research environment.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in software development for robotics, preferably Python or C++.
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time computing is preferred.

Responsabilités

  • You will prepare and defend a PhD thesis as part of the FWO project 'ECHO-FLIGHT'.
  • You will publish scientific articles related to the research project.
  • You will collaborate closely with a PhD student on perception system development.
