University of Antwerp is inviting applications for a full-time doctoral scholarship holder in vitro gametogenesis within the context of fertility preservation. You will actively prepare and defend a PhD thesis, publish articles, and contribute to teaching and research support within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team at Campus Drie Eiken, Wilrijk.

The role requires a Master’s degree in life sciences, strong English communication, and experience with stem cell handling and molecular techniques.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in life sciences or related field.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Experience with stem cell handling and culture.
• Experience with molecular techniques.
• Willingness to work with animal models (including pigs).
• Valid driving license in Belgium or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Publish scientific articles related to the research project and present at conferences.
• Carry out limited teaching and research support tasks.
• Be flexible to work outside standard hours when project demands.
