A leading research university in Belgium seeks a PhD student for the Department of Information Technology. This role focuses on investigating next-generation cellular technology (6G) with a strong emphasis on wireless networks and AI. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, or completion expected soon.
• Interest in research for a 4-year PhD program.
• Fluent in English (C1 CEFR level) both speaking and writing.

Responsabilités

• Study state-of-the-art techniques in O-RAN based wireless networks.
• Design and implement novel techniques for cellular communications.
• Collaborate towards proof-of-concept implementation.
• Write high-quality publications.
• Assist in educational tasks of the research group.
• Mentor master theses related to the PhD subject.
