Euraxess is looking for a PhD candidate for a project focused on the challenges of Future 6G networks, integrating terrestrial and non-terrestrial systems. The role involves developing predictive network intelligence and working on software-defined radio and AI-driven algorithms.

Candidates should have a master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering and be in the top 10% of their class. This position offers a PhD scholarship at KU Leuven, a leading university in Europe, with opportunities for international collaboration and research.

Qualifications

• Ranked in the top 10% of class in MSc and BSc with exceptional grades.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design is a plus.

• Develop a software-defined radio-based spectrum sensing experimental testbed.
• Create AI-based Digital Twin models for virtualizing radio environment.
