Vulcain Engineering Belgium seeks a Civil & HVAC Engineer to join the team and strengthen our pharma-focused projects. You will review studies and designs for civil works, architecture, cleanrooms and HVAC for a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, and supervise construction on site in line with approved plans and standards.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (HVAC, electrical, process, CQV, HSE) to ensure timely delivery, compliance with EU GMP and cleanroom standards (ISO

Qualifications

• Master degree in life sciences or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Education and proven experience in civil engineering, industrial architecture, cleanrooms and/or HVAC.
• Experience with any pharma or complex industrial installations.
• Good knowledge of EU GMP and ISO 14644 cleanroom standards.
• Ability to work efficiently on a construction site with hands-on, proactive problem-solving.

Responsabilités

• Review studies and designs for civil works, architecture, cleanrooms and HVAC for a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Supervise construction on site (civil, architectural finish, cleanrooms and HVAC) in line with approved plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between HVAC systems, building envelope, cleanrooms, technical spaces and non-classified zones.
• Ensure compliance with EU GMP, hygienic design principles and applicable industrial and safety standards.
• Monitor site activities: manage deviations, non-conformities, punch lists and corrective actions to closure.
• Provide active support during commissioning, qualification and handover phases toward operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (HVAC, electrical, utilities, process, CQV, HSE) to ensure project schedule and quality.
