Job summary

NCIM is seeking an experienced security tester to lead and participate in NATO Red/Blue exercises, delivering web and infrastructure pentesting and security design reviews.

You will provide security consultancy, coordinate with accreditation boards and present findings to executives and technical teams, ensuring alignment with NATO policies and directives.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience in web application penetration testing (3+ years).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure penetration testing (3+ years).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in network security architecture design (3+ years).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in assessing vulnerabilities in OS, software, protocols and networks (3+ years).
• Extensive knowledge and experience in researching and evaluating security products/tech (3+ years).
• Knowledge in system and network administration of UNIX and Windows systems (3+ years).
• Experience with penetration testing tools, techniques and methodologies (3+ years).
• Scripting skills in Perl, Python, Ruby or shell (3+ years).
• Technical knowledge in security domains including cryptography and malware protection (3+ years).
• Ability to evaluate risks and formulate mitigation plans.
• Proven ability to write clear, structured technical reports for diverse audiences.
• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret

Responsibilities

• Lead or be part of Red/Blue Team during NATO exercises;

Job description

Duties

• Lead and/or be part of the Red/Blue Team during NATO military exercises;
• Provide Web, infrastructure and application level penetration testing;
• Provide security design reviews to ensure compliance with NATO policies and directives;
• Provide security consultancy and advice to projects, plans, and other entities;
• Build and sustain effective communications with different stakeholders; specifically, the NCIA Configuration Control Board, Security Accreditation Boards, NATO Security Accreditation Authorities, and NCI Agency organization units supporting accreditation processes.
• Brief at both executive and technical levels on security reports and testing outcome, including at flag officer level;
• In co-ordination with the Head of the Penetration testing Cell, ensure proactive collaboration and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
