ChristianaCare's Pediatric Care Center in Newark is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Winter Temporary Program. You will care for patients from birth through age 17 in a 14-bed unit that blends emergency and general pediatric acute care, focusing on high-quality, family-centered nursing.

Choose between 24 weeks (Oct 25, 2026–Mar 13, 2027) or 12 weeks (Dec 6, 2026–Feb 27, 2027). Shifts are 12 hours in the evening or night, with 48 or 72 hours per pay period and no floating to other units.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• RN experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care and/or Pediatric Stepdown required.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred; ADN required.
• Epic-prepared and competent in assigned clinical area.
• Complete two days of orientation.
• Commit to either the 12-week or 24-week program.
• Meet weekend and holiday commitment.

Responsabilités

• Provide pediatric nursing care from birth to 17 years in the Pediatric Care Center.
