The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail, with a focus on equitable access, efficient scheduling, and compliance. Travel between UD Health clinic locations may be required to support patient volume and coverage fluctuations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of healthcare admin or related experience.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; experience with Google Drive apps.
• Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication; effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume workflows and maintain attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Independently determine and modify intake and scheduling frameworks to ensure equitable access, operational efficiency and regulatory alignment.
• Review and verify financial and non-financial patient documentation, including co-pays, billing, and account reviews.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling using EMR systems while ensuring compliance and resource efficiency.
• Communicate practices and procedures to patients and families with clarity and empathy.
• Analyze waitlist data and scheduling bottlenecks; generate reports and suggest operational adjustments.
