Hanson Search Ltd in Brussels is seeking a Partner in EU Public Affairs to lead and grow a practice advising companies on regulatory, trade and political challenges in Brussels and beyond.
The role offers freedom to shape the offering, build a lean, high-performing team, and the chance to collaborate with colleagues across Europe; a senior, entrepreneurial culture is emphasised with a competitive package including commission on new business.
A leading international advisory is looking for a Partner in EU Public Affairs to join its Brussels office. This is a rare chance for an established public affairs leader to build their own practice within a firm that values entrepreneurship and senior judgement.
You will lead and grow a practice of your own, advising companies facing high-stakes regulatory, trade and political challenges in Brussels and beyond. The firm deliberately focuses on senior advisory work rather than monitoring or high-volume tendering, so your time goes into strategy, client relationships and the issues that matter most to boards and leadership teams.
You will have real freedom to shape your offer, whether you bring deep sector knowledge or a niche service the market is missing, along with the backing to build a lean, high-performing team around it. Areas of particular interest include energy, metals and mining, heavy industry, chemicals, sustainability, trade and financial services, although the firm remains open to other specialisms with strong commercial potential.
The group brings together public affairs, strategic communications, investigations, intelligence and cybersecurity, with offices across Europe, North America and Africa. Its Brussels team ranks among the larger consultancies in the city, with a senior-heavy structure and an established reputation in competition, chemicals and critical issues such as sanctions, tariffs and compliance.
With ambitious growth plans, the firm offers the opportunity to work on integrated mandates with colleagues in Paris, London and the United States. The culture is entrepreneurial and collaborative, with flexibility on working arrangements and a strong commitment to ethics, overseen by an independent ethics committee. Senior hires are offered a competitive package that includes commission on new business.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial public affairs leader to build a practice with the support of an ambitious international group. You will be offered genuine autonomy, a highly competitive package with commission on new business, and the chance to help shape the next phase of the firm’s growth in Brussels.
