Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Independent Rater who will work remotely to support Spanish-speaking assessments in clinical trials. The role focuses on reviewing scales, ensuring standardized assessment practices, and guiding raters through methodology and scoring. This is a part-time, remote position with monthly hours.

Fluency in English and native-level Spanish are required. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and has several years of experience with psychiatric assessments and CNS

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatry, Social Work or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years administering psychiatric assessments and rating scales (MINI; MADRS; CAPS; PCL-5; CSSRS; CGI).
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with psychiatric populations.
• Minimum 3 years administering scales in clinical research trials (excluding graduate/doctoral).
• Experience in CNS trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all required orientation, training, and calibration activities.
• Review case data and prepare for rater discussions, ensuring all relevant documents are available.
• Conduct live interactions with raters to provide feedback on assessment methodology and scoring.
• Complete assigned tasks and rater interactions according to schedule.
• Submit all required documentation accurately and on time.
