ChristianaCare is seeking a Part-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures. The role requires an Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology and ARRT/NMTCB certification, with a preference for one year of experience.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, dose calculations, image transmission to PACS, and on-call/weekend duties. Strong communication and patient-care skills are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• One year experience preferred.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Maintains compliance with NRC, state licenses and JCAHO regulations.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine and/or PET/CT procedures and quality control per department protocols.
• Demonstrates proficiency with contrast media injectors.
• Completes imaging and non-imaging procedures within scheduled times.
• Performs IV, IM, subcutaneous and intradermal injections and dose calculations.
• Transmits images to PACS; can digitize films and use CD burner.
