Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking an EHS Specialist to support employees across Belgium and the wider Benelux region. The role acts as Prevention Advisor, ensuring compliance with Belgian health and safety legislation while promoting a strong safety culture in a highly regulated healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Prevention Advisor certification.
• Minimum 2 years of EHS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Prevention Advisor experience.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian health & safety legislation.
• Experience with risk assessments and compliance programs.
• Skilled in incident investigations and corrective action management.
• Comfortable delivering presentations and training sessions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a strong asset.
• Organized, proactive, autonomous, and a strong relationship builder.

Responsabilités

• Act as Prevention Advisor for the Belgian commercial organization.
• Conduct workplace and task-specific risk assessments.
• Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Lead ergonomics, driver safety, fire safety, PPE, and employee health initiatives.
• Manage biological, chemical, and ionising radiation safety programs.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses.
• Support internal audits and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training, communication, and awareness initiatives.
