Job summary

Zepz, a global fintech powerhouse, is seeking a reliable risk and outsourcing governance professional to own third-party oversight in Belgium. You will manage external and intra-group outsourcing, ensure regulatory filings, and monitor provider performance to protect the entity and customers.

You will collaborate with groups across risk, compliance, and operations to uphold standards, drive improvements, and maintain a culture of accountability and speed in decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in third-party risk management, outsourcing governance and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains master register of outsourced functions per NBB and EBA guidelines.
• Performs due diligence and oversees sub-outsourcing arrangements.
• Monitors SLA/KPI performance and ensures service quality per contracts.
• Ensures compliance with Belgian regulatory filings and approvals.
• Escalates outsourcing risks and drives corrective action plans.
• Supports governance cadence of the Intra-Group Local Outsourcing Committee.

About the Role

Positioned decisively in the first line of defense, this role governs the full lifecycle of internal and external outsourcing arrangements to prevent the Belgium entity from operating as an "empty shell".

Responsibilities

• Maintains the master register of outsourced and critical/important functions per NBB and EBA outsourcing guidelines, including maintaining the DORA Register of Information.
• Conducts due diligence and ongoing oversight of external and intra-group outsourcing providers, tracking sub-outsourcing (chain outsourcing) dependencies.
• Monitors quantitative SLA/KPI performance and service quality against contractual expectations, ensuring providers meet their targets.
• Ensures outsourcing arrangements meet Belgian regulatory notification/approval requirements, including preparing pre-outsourcing filings for the NBB.
• Escalates outsourcing risks or provider failures to local management, enforcing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and reviewing post-incident root-cause analyses (RCAs).
• Manages the governance cadence by organizing and supporting the Intra-Group Local Outsourcing Committee (ILOC).

Skills

• Strong expertise in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and direct experience with EBA and NBB outsourcing regulations.
• Experience with SLA/KPI formulation, rigorous contract negotiation, and continuous vendor performance monitoring.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to bridge the gap between local risk expectations and group service provision.

AI Literacy & Tools

• A genuine curiosity about AI and how it can be applied in your area of work — from accelerating analysis and insight generation, to improving how we design and deliver processes and communications.
• Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context — whether to connect information, draft content, build frameworks, or create insights from data. We want people who actively use AI to increase productivity, not those who are waiting to be told to.
• Strong AI literacy — an understanding of what AI assistants can and cannot do, how to prompt effectively, and how to critically evaluate AI-generated output before using it.
• Awareness of the ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace, particularly in the context of sensitive data, customer experience, and compliance.
• Prior experience using Claude (Anthropic) is a nice-to-have but not essential — what matters most is that you are genuinely engaged with AI as a tool, comfortable experimenting, and eager to share what works with your wider team.
