Job summary

Alan is hiring in Belgium to redefine prevention and care. You will own high-impact initiatives from concept to scale, shaping cross-functional strategies and partnerships across healthcare providers, labs and pharmacies. This is a founder-style role with backing from a €800M+ ARR company.

You will lead ambitious projects to expand integrated care, working with Belgian teams and external partners to deliver measurable impact on member health and the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in operations, product or entrepreneurship.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch (both is a strong plus).
• High level structuring and analytical skills (including SQL for data analysis).
• Experience taking a product/service from zero to scale and owning high-ambiguity initiatives.

• Launch Mo in Belgium, French and Dutch, with Belgian doctors involved.
• Generalise advanced blood tests with AI health plans for members.
• Develop prevention programmes addressing gaps in care.

OPERATIONS AT ALAN

Behind Alan's performance lies an Operations team that is anything but back-office. At Alan, Ops is a strategic function: we define the vision, build the systems, and own the outcomes that make our insurance and healthcare products work at scale.

As a Ops & Product Builder, you will own some of the most critical and ambiguous challenges in the company. You will shape strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, and build solutions with lasting impact on Alan's P&L and member experience.

THE CHALLENGE

We are looking for entrepreneurs in the mindset with a strong operational background to disrupt (and not only upgrade) the way we traditionally think about insurance or healthcare, and deeply re-engineer the experience we offer to our members .

We move fast and are proud to tackle big problems! One of our core value is ownership : we expect you to tackle Alan's problems from end to end with a long-term focus, acting on the behalf of the entire Company, never saying “it’s not my job” and being accountable for your actions.

Specifically here: Belgian healthcare is built to react. You get sick, then you get care. Prevention is the exception, and people are left to find their way between GPs, specialists, mutualities and insurers.

In France, we’ve shown it can work differently. Mo, our AI medical assistant, answers health questions 24/7. The Shop delivers health products at zero out-of-pocket. Alan Precision makes advanced prevention accessible through blood tests and health plans. Occupational health brings prevention into working life. It all lives in one app.

Now we’re building it in Belgium, and you’re the one who makes it happen.

Here are some examples of missions that you could lead:

• Launch Mo in Belgium Bring our AI medical assistant to Belgium in French and Dutch, with Belgian doctors shaping its answers and taking over when a human is needed.
• Advanced prevention for everyone: Generalise advanced blood tests paired with AI health plans into a service every member can easily access. That means building the network of clinical labs, pharmacies and care providers behind Alan Precision.
• Prevention programmes for unmet health needs: Spot the gaps in today’s care (weight loss, sleep, women’s health etc) and turn them, with health professionals and product teams, into programmes members love.
• A health partner for every workplace: Reinvent occupational health and Health At Work, a channel that reaches a huge share of Belgian workers but struggle to deliver the right impact on prevention. Design the model and take it from idea to launch.

This is a 0-to-1 role. You’ll have the autonomy of a founder and the backing of a €800M+ ARR company. What you build will change how hundreds of thousands of people in Belgium look after their health.

IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING, YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT

• 6+ years in operations, product or entrepreneurship, ideally including launching new services
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch (both is a strong plus)
• You have a high level of structure and strong analytical skills (including Sql fluency for data analysis)
• You’ve taken a product or service from zero to scale and owned high-ambiguity, high-impact initiatives
• You set clear vision and roadmaps, lead product reviews and drive make-or-buy decisions
• You build and run key partnerships autonomously (providers, pharmacies, labs, health-tech)
• You’re strong on AI and automation
• You’re a strong mentor who makes the people around you better
• You know, or will quickly learn, how Belgian healthcare works: mutualities, practitioners, reimbursement, regulation

For this role we are looking to hire within the D–F level range, based in Brussels.
