Job summary

UpcoMinds is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a high-profile international defense client based in Belgium. The role is full-time and on-site, requiring active NATO Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include administering cloud environments (AWS/Azure), providing L2/3 support, provisioning VMs and databases, and automating infrastructure with Terraform and scripts in Python/PowerShell. Fluency in English and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with database management systems (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) on cloud and on-premises.
• Hands-on with AWS and Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience with VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks and monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus).

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure enterprise cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
• Provide L2/3 support for cloud issues, investigating and resolving problems promptly.
• Provision and manage VMs, storage, and databases on cloud and on-premises.
• Automate deployment and management of cloud resources using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks.
