KION Intralogistic Solutions Benelux NV is seeking an I&C Engineer to lead the testing and commissioning of mobile automation projects at customer sites in Belgium. You will work closely with the Project Manager and the Execution team to ensure smooth on-site deployment and handover.

The role requires knowledge of electronics, controls, and automation, plus hands-on experience with AGVs, WMS interfaces, and PLCs (Siemens S7).

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering (Mechatronics, Industrial Automation)
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects (mechanical, electrical, software)
• Automation solutions exposure (AGVs, WMS, intralogistics)
• Knowledge of electronics, wiring diagrams, and controls/hydraulics
• Basic programming (C/C++) and experience with Git, Linux, Siemens S7, Beckhoff IPC
• Experience interfacing with WMS/WCS or Control Level Software
• Experience with AutoCAD and Custom drafting for system layouts
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred
• ERP systems and issue tracking (SAP, JIRA) knowledge
• Willing to travel to customer facilities
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, test, and startup automated vehicles in Mobile Automation projects
• Configure system components and adjust vehicles
• Perform safety tests and supervise functional and performance tests
• Configure customer-specific functional requirements
• Design driving routes and parameterize material flows
• Perform safety training and operator instructions
• Report project status to the project manager
