KION Intralogistic Solutions Benelux NV is seeking an I&C Engineer to lead the installation, commissioning, and handover of Mobile Automation projects at customer sites in Belgium. You will closely collaborate with the Project Manager and the Project Execution team, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction across multi-disciplinary work.

Responsibilities include testing automated vehicles, configuring components, conducting safety and performance tests, and training end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering or similar (Mechatronics, Industrial Automation).
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project environment (mechanical, electrical, SW).
• Knowledge of automation solutions incl. AGVs & WMS; travel willingness.
• Solid knowledge of electronics, wiring diagrams and schematics, controls & hydraulics.
• Basics knowledge in programming (e.g. C/C++) and experience with Siemens S7, Beckhoff IPC.
• Experience interfacing WMS, WCS, or Control Level Software; AutoCAD experience.

Responsabilités

• Installation, commissioning, testing & startup of automated vehicles.
• Configure system components and adjust vehicles.
• Perform safety tests and guide functional & performance tests.
• Configure customer-specific functional requirements.
• Design driving routes and parameterize material flows.
• Provide safety training and end-user instructions; report progress to project manager.
