The Methods Engineering & Equipment and Technology Development group develops transport and installation methods for the different DEME Offshore activities safeguarding technical feasibility, operational efficiency and workability. Additionally, the team develops the required equipment for the projects focused on safe and efficient operations, ensuring high workability and accelerating the pace of innovation. These Developments are coordinated in close cooperation with the commercial and operational departments to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.

As a Methods & Mission Equipment Engineer at DEME Offshore, you are involved with the engineering of new transport and installation methods and the development of corresponding mission equipment. You will provide engineering support during project execution and follow‑up on performance and any modifications or improvements to existing equipment.

Our Jack Up vessels and Floating Heavy Lift Vessels are highly technological equipment working in the offshore industry. As a Crane Operator you are responsible for performing heavy lifts in a safe way.

Data Officer

At DEME, our business thrives on becoming a data‑driven organization for continuously improving operational excellence and decision‑making processes. We are constantly exploring new opportunities where data assets and emerging technologies in AI and data science can make a significant difference. To accomplish this, we are seeking a data officer who can shape the use cases, capture the user’s needs and create intuitive solutions that deliver results. With internal clients as the main stakeholder, you will work closely with data architects, data engineers, BI developers, data scientists and IT business partners.
The domains where data change requests and improvements are needed are broad: HR, Finance, Procurement and Logistics, QHSE, Asset Management or general Operations and can depend on past experiences and preferences. Besides the data officer role, you will be supporting the data science team.

IoT Network & Cybersecurity Engineer

As an IoT Network & Cybersecurity Engineer, you will step into a dynamic environment where operational technology, connectivity and security come together. You will help safeguard and optimize DEME’s operational networks, specifically related to our vessels. That means designing, securing and troubleshooting the critical systems that make our pioneering projects possible.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and security of our industrial communication and OT infrastructure. As part of a multidisciplinary, hands‑on team bridging engineering, IT and operations you help to safeguard critical systems through professional network administration, robust routing & switching, and industrial cyber‑security practices.

Commercial Manager / Tender Manager

You’ll be responsible for analyzing international tenders and commercial opportunities and managing corresponding project proposals for complex offshore works. Under your leadership, your team shall analyze the project scope and develop the engineering, the planning and the pricing.
As central point of contact you will establish strong relationships with (potential) clients during the whole process. You will lead and manage a tender team through application of our tender and acquisition processes; you will motivate and empower your tender team members from the various DEME Offshore specialists support departments, such as Engineering, Legal, Insurance, Finance, Project Controls. Through facilitating excellent team communication and efficiency, you will support ownership and maximize innovation, targeting a high‑quality tender submission and contract. Finally, you and the tender sponsor will take the lead in tender clarifications and negotiations with clients after the submission of the tenders.
This position is based at our DEME Offshore Office in Breda, The Netherlands.

Tender & Acquisition Manager

As a Tender & Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for delivering international tenders and commercial opportunities and managing corresponding project proposals for offshore wind works. Together with the tender team you shall analyze the project scope and develop the engineering, the planning and the pricing.
The Tender & Acquisition Manager shall build and maintain a business network and communicate short- and long‑term opportunities in the market to the organization. Through proactive work, you shall seek and create opportunities in the market for non‑tendered work and official tenders alike. Pending on size and complexity of the various tenders, you will lead and manage a tender team through application of our tender and acquisition processes; you will motivate and empower colleagues from the various DEME Offshore specialists support departments, such as Engineering, Legal, Insurance, Finance, and Project Controls. Through facilitating excellent team communication and efficiency, you will support ownership and maximize innovation, targeting a high‑quality tender submission and contract. Finally, you will take the lead in tender clarifications and negotiations with clients after the submission of the tenders.
This position is based at our DEME Offshore Office in either Oslo, Norway or Frederica, Denmark.

Project Finance Manager

Therefore we are looking for motivated candidates to reinforce our Finance department on sites.

Project Procurement Coordinator

As Project Procurement Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, connecting tender teams, project engineers and local purchasers to make sure our projects run smoothly from the very start. You enjoy a dynamic role where no two days look the same: from supporting tenders and securing key project materials, to occasionally visiting project sites and vessels to work hands‑on with local teams.
The Project Procurement Coordinator is responsible for maximizing procurement coverage of project spend from tender to execution by identifying key cost components and ensuring early involvement of procurement in sourcing activities. The role includes managing procurement activities for smaller projects remotely from headquarters, as well as handling medium‑value spot purchases and strategic sourcing outside the group procurement scope.
In addition, the position leverages existing framework agreements, explores new contractual opportunities, and collaborates closely with central procurement to establish sound project‑specific contracts. The PPC implements the Group Purchase & Logistics Operating Model by developing the Project Procurement Plan & List and providing tools and dashboards to enable end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics management.
