Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Nuclear Fuel Assistant Manager to join its team. You will support the technical aspects of spent nuclear fuel management on site and assist with long-term project planning and stakeholder alignment.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s in mechanical, process, electrical, or nuclear engineering, have 1 year of nuclear experience, and are fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, process, electrical or nuclear).
• At least 1 year of experience in the nuclear industry.
• Fluency in French and English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support during implementation and follow-up of technical aspects of projects for long-term spent nuclear fuel management on site.
• Long-term planning and ensuring projects comply with stakeholder expectations.
• Management of supply and service contracts related to spent fuel management.

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Nuclear Fuel Assistant Manager to join its team.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Support during the implementation and follow-up of the technical aspects of various projects to ensure the long-term management of spent nuclear fuel on site;
• Long-term planning and ensuring these projects comply with the expectations of all stakeholders
• Management of supply and service contracts related to spent fuel management;
• Support during technical analyses and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers involved in spent fuel management;
• Technical monitoring, schedule compliance, and budget supervision.

ABOUT YOU:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, process, electrical, or nuclear engineering
• 1 year of experience in the nuclear industry
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory (Dutch is a plus)
• Knowledge of nuclear norms, regulations and national stakeholders
• Willingness to grow as project manager in the long-term
