Job summary

Arcadis in Belgium is seeking an Energy Marshall to lead electrical safety in HV/MV/LV environments. You will audit switching operations, issue safety permits to work, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The role involves shaping energisation strategies, reviewing safety documentation, mentoring team members, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors. Significant international travel to Finland is possible; base location can be in country.

Qualifications

• Ability to build and manage Energisation Strategy and Electrical Safety Plan.
• Knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations and related safety rules.
• Experience auditing safety documents and switching programmes.
• Proven ability to lead safety documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical safety documentation.
• Audit and review site switching schedules, including power on, isolation, and earthing.
• Audit AP Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test, and Limitation of Access documents.
• Attend client meetings, mentor team members, assist outage programmes.
• Own the site Electrical safety plan, policy, and compliance with legislation.
• Work with clients, subcontractors and project staff as a team.
• Apply recognised qualifications and experience to similar environments.
