A leading sports retailer in Antwerp is seeking an Assistant Head Coach to oversee retail operations and manage a team towards achieving commercial success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the brand. Responsabilités

  • Oversee and manage all retail areas and team members to achieve commercial success.
  • Lead performance management: set targets and report all store KPIs.
  • Support the Store Manager in recruitment and handle operational tasks.
  • Provide operational training and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Manage all operational processes, loss prevention, health and safety.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial knowledge of competitors and local markets.
  • Set an example and empower the team to provide a customer‑driven experience that promotes a premium sales and service culture.
  • Support the Store Manager in recruitment.
  • Prepare and conduct performance reviews and develop action plans with team members.
  • Plan staffing based on peak hours, productivity, labor regulations, and wages.
  • Provide operational training (e.g., loss prevention, complaint handling, health and safety).
  • Measure training performance of the store team (online, SKU, face‑to‑face).
  • Support succession planning and talent development.
  • Deliver consistent coaching on sales, product, and training to ensure the highest level of customer service and sales.
  • Handle all merchandising‑related processes: inventory, supply chain communication, and merchandise feedback.
  • Maintain and communicate inventory status and efficiency within the allocated budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (health and safety, store operations, loss prevention, time and attendance).
  • Maintain proficiency in business systems and latest technology.
  • Keep the Break Room Communication board updated and maintained.
  • Handle transactions, complaints, and returns processing.
  • Collaborate with external services for all store‑related processes (cleaning, cash collection, IT).
  • Perform any other relevant tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and to expected standards in all areas.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all retail areas (front of house, back of house, visual merchandising) and team members to achieve commercial success.
  • Handle operational tasks in the absence of the Head Coach.
  • Lead performance management: set targets, communicate objectives, follow up, implement action plans, and report all store KPIs (sales, conversion, UPT, ADT, Mystery Shop, turnover, staffing, payroll, STAR).
  • Communicate sales results, goals, and individual responsibilities to team members; hold them accountable for achieving individual and team goals.
  • Manage all operational processes, loss prevention, health and safety.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial knowledge of competitors and local markets.
  • Set an example and empower the team to provide a customer‑driven experience that promotes a premium sales and service culture.
