Job summary

Green Island is seeking a junior software engineer to help build production software on a React/React Native and .NET stack that processes more than 15 million transactions daily. You’ll contribute from design through release and work with a team of engineers, designers, and customer success colleagues.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundations in object-oriented programming, data structures, databases, APIs, and modern web architecture.
• Evidence that you build, investigate, and learn beyond coursework.
• Clear communication and a willingness to ask good questions.
• Ownership, accountability, and ambition.

Responsibilities

• Build features across React, React Native, C#, .NET, APIs, and data, depending on your interests and the problem.
• Learn how high-volume systems behave in production.
• Integrate games, payments, and other service providers.
• Help adapt the platform to different regulatory markets.
• Work with experienced engineers, designers, and customer success colleagues.
• Ship work used by real operators and players.
