Vivid Resourcing in Bruges is seeking a Software Engineer to join its growing team. You will build high-quality software and mentor a small team of two engineers, providing technical direction and performing code reviews.

You will work on complex .NET/React applications for textile and manufacturing clients, collaborating with product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions and contributing to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

We're headhunting for a leading software development company based in Bruges, specializing in solutions for the textile and manufacturing industries, as they seek a talented Software Engineer to join its growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys not only building high-quality software but also guiding others. You will play a key role in developing modern applications while supporting and mentoring a small team of two engineers.

You will be responsible for developing complex software solutions tailored to clients in the textile and manufacturing sectors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to both new product development and the continuous improvement of existing systems.

In addition to hands-on development, the role includes a leadership component in terms of providing technical direction, reviewing code, and helping less experienced team members grow in their careers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET and React
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor and support a small team of two engineers
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software development
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy
• Ensure high standards of performance, quality, and responsiveness

Your Profile

• Strong experience with .NET and React
• Solid understanding of modern software development principles and practices
• Proven ability to mentor or lead other developers
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure
• Familiarity with Angular and/or TypeScript
• Background in manufacturing or textile-related systems
