Laborelec in Linkebeek, Belgium, is seeking an Electrical Cable Field Engineer MV/HV to perform measurements, locate faults, and manage fieldwork across Belgium. You will collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure safe, reliable cable operations while traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in electricity or electrical engineering.
• At least 3 years of practical experience with electrical cables or similar fieldwork.
• Hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently on site.
• Communicates well in at least two languages: Dutch, French, or English.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements and inspections on electrical cables at industrial sites and power plants.
• Detect and locate cable faults, analyze results, and report findings.
• Plan and carry out fieldwork independently, often traveling across Belgium.
• Work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure safe and reliable cable operations.
• Contribute to improving methods and sharing knowledge within the team.
