Job summary

DPS Group Global in Geel, Belgium is looking for Project Engineers with a broad technical background to join a multidisciplinary project team supporting a major pharmaceutical investment programme.

You will coordinate Mechanical, Civil, Equipment, Utilities, HVAC and other engineering disciplines, manage interfaces, and help develop scopes, specifications and project documentation while supporting planning, budgeting and execution through to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• A broad technical background across Mechanical, Electromechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with multidisciplinary technical projects.
• Experience in pharma, biotech, chemicals or a complex industrial environment is desirable.
• Ability to understand interfaces between engineering disciplines and manage interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical coordination for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Coordinate different engineering disciplines and technical interfaces.
• Develop and review technical scopes, specifications and project documentation.
• Provide technical follow-up of contractors, vendors and engineering partners.
• Coordinate interfaces between Mechanical, Civil, HVAC, E&I, Process and other disciplines.
• Support project planning, budgeting and progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges during engineering and execution.
• Support construction, installation, commissioning and final handover.
• Act as a technical link between different disciplines and project stakeholders.
