Johnson & Johnson Geel is seeking a Polyvalent Technieker for a full-time shift position focused on preventive and corrective maintenance across production areas. You will ensure safe operation, analyze faults, and support the deployment of process automation enhancements at the Geel site.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with expertise in instrumentation, control systems, and GMP/safety standards. ERP and automation experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a technical field or equivalent by experience.
• Multidisciplinary technical profile with instrumentation and meet- & rule technology.
• Experience with process automation systems.
• Knowledge of DeltaV and PCS7 is a plus.
• Strong quality- and safety-awareness.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety requirements (ATEX, LOTO) are a plus.
• Experience with ERP like SAP (e-stream) is a plus.
• Analytical and systematic thinking.
• Structured and orderly.
• Good communication and a proactive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Perform urgent fault analyses and repairs across the site.
• Maintain safe operation of production installations.
• Prepare work orders; update shift logs.
• Prepare safety work permits and LOTO procedures.
• Overhaul components (mechanical seals, motors, pumps, cabinets).
• Carry out commissioning calibrations.
• Improve corrective maintenance with other services.
• Analyze and improve technical applications.
• Update PID and electrical diagrams as needed.
• Report quality deviations; ensure GMP compliance.
• Supervise external personnel on site.
