Quento, the ICT arm of the Qualco Group, seeks a Mendix Developer to translate business requirements into Mendix applications, build integrations, and contribute to reusable components and standards.

This on-site role in Luxembourg requires at least 5 years of IT software development (3+ on Mendix), Mendix Advanced Developer Certification, and English fluency. French is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of IT software development, including at least 3 years with Mendix.
• Holder of Mendix Advanced Developer Certification.
• Proven track record delivering at least two Mendix applications to production with integrations.
• Experience with Mendix 10+ deployments (on-prem/ private cloud).
• Experience with Java and JavaScript for custom actions/widgets.
• Experience in Scrum or Agile methodologies.
• EU Institutions/Public Administration experience is a plus.
• Excellent command of English (C1+); French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business requirements and user stories into Mendix applications (domain models, microflows, pages, security roles).
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems via APIs, connectors, and SSO (SAML/OIDC).
• Design and maintain reusable modules, widgets, and components and contribute to shared libraries.
• Apply secure-by-design principles and RBAC throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop UI compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Write and maintain unit and automated tests; participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to deployment, release management, and production support.
• Produce technical documentation on design, development, deployment, and support processes.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and Group policies.

Mendix Developer:

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements and user stories into Mendix applications, including domain models, microflows, pages, and security roles.
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems through APIs, database connectors, and Single Sign-On (SAML/OIDC) solutions.
• Design and maintain reusable modules, widgets, and components, contributing to shared component libraries and development standards.
• Apply secure-by-design principles, role-based access control, and data protection requirements throughout the application lifecycle.
• Develop user interfaces that comply with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Write and maintain unit and automated tests, participate in code reviews, and leverage Mendix quality tools to ensure code quality and manage technical debt.
• Contribute to application deployment, release management, and third-level support activities for production environments.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation covering application design, development, deployment, and support processes.
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline; alternatively, equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT software development, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform.
• Holder of a Mendix Advanced Developer Certification.
• Proven track record in delivering at least two Mendix applications to production, including integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience with Mendix 10 or later, including deployments in on-premises and/or private cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript for the development of custom actions, widgets, and platform extensions.
• Experience working within Scrum or other Agile software delivery frameworks.
• Ability to contribute across the full application lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Mendix-based solutions.
• Mendix Expert Certification will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience within EU Institutions, Agencies, or Public Administration organisations, as well as exposure to Mendix AI capabilities (e.g., Maia, GenAI connectors), will be considered an asset.
• Excellent command of English (C1 level or higher); knowledge of French is an advantage.

This role is an on - site opportunity in Luxembourg.
