In4Matic is seeking a medior Security System Engineer to bolster a modern workplace and IT security environment. You will blend hands-on support with project-driven improvements to enhance the organization’s security posture in collaboration with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities include defining security strategy, implementing roadmaps, and monitoring incidents in a Microsoft ecosystem. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with hybrid work and long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 3–5 years of Security Engineer or similar experience.
• Strong communication skills for explaining topics to stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with initiative and change support.

Responsabilités

• Define, implement, and monitor the security approach within the IT environment.
• Translate security needs into a roadmap and manage the security backlog.
• Follow up on incidents, alerts, and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Contribute to security projects within a Microsoft-based ecosystem.
• Support user awareness and promote a strong security culture.
• Combine security ownership with operational IT support when needed.
