ITProposal is seeking a Medior DevOps / Azure Engineer for a fully onsite role in Dessel, Belgium. You will support deployment, automation and infrastructure, focusing on Azure, CI/CD, IaC, deployment automation and some .NET responsibilities.

The role requires medior-level experience and collaboration with development teams and external partners to maintain a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment. This is a 4-month contract starting August 2026.

Qualifications

• Medior-level experience in DevOps, Azure, software development, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with PowerShell and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Git and version control.
• Understanding of .NET / React / Microservices architectures.
• Experience with deployment and release management.
• Understanding of application and API security.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of Service Fabric.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Medior DevOps / Azure Engineer to support development processes and manage deployment, release, and infrastructure activities.

The successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment, working closely with development teams, stakeholders, and external partners. The role focuses on Azure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, and ALM processes, with some supporting .NET development responsibilities.

Additional Requirements

• This is a fully onsite position in Dessel, Belgium; remote work is not available.
• Candidates must be able to commute to the Dessel site.
• A security clearance/authorisation or security screening may be required as part of the selection process.
• Candidates should indicate whether they or their company already hold the required security clearance.
