Novartis Belux is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to act as a scientific ambassador, building trusted partnerships with Medical Experts and Healthcare Professionals to inform evidence-based decisions and support clinical research.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance patient care, ensure compliant engagement, and contribute to medical education, while upholding ethical standards and regulatory requirements across Belgium.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc in Life Sciences, or equivalent).
• Experience in Medical Affairs or clinical research.
• Ability to engage in evidence-based dialogue with Healthcare Professionals and Medical Experts.
• Knowledge of clinical research, evidence generation, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
• Fluent in English and local language.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute Medical Expert engagement plans.
• Identify Medical Experts and key accounts for scientific engagement.
• Conduct compliant, peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with Healthcare Professionals and Medical Experts.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely and balanced manner.
• Share and discuss emerging clinical data, publications, and disease insights.
• Support sponsored clinical research activities, feasibility, and investigator engagement.
• Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT) upon request.
• Contribute to medical education initiatives and scientific meetings.
• Gather, synthesize, and communicate actionable external insights.
• Serve as a scientific resource for internal stakeholders with clinical context.
• Report adverse events and ensure timelines are met.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, ERC standards, and regulations.
