Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven industry experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sector.
• Working knowledge of ISO13485, 21CFR820, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, industrialisation, lifecycle management, and maintenance of drug delivery systems.
• Collaborate with program teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners for project management of technical activities.
• Ensure compliance with medical device Quality Management System and protect IP arising from programs.
• Support design verification/validation, process validation, and regulatory submissions.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Medical Device Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based on a hybrid basis in the Walloon Region, Belgium. As the Medical Device Engineer, you have the chance to work on cutting-edge drug delivery systems, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and contributing to the lifecycle management of these critical products. This is a 12 month mission with potential extension and the rate is between 700-780€ per day.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Medical Device Engineer, you will contribute to technical activities and ensure the appropriate development, industrialisation, lifecycle management, and maintenance of drug delivery systems. As the Medical Device Engineer, you will collaborate with program team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project management of technical activities. As the Medical Device Engineer, you will ensure compliance with the medical device Quality Management System and protect intellectual property arising from programs. As the Medical Device Engineer, you will provide support in preparation and justification of design verification, design validation, process validation, commercial launch planning, and regulatory submissions.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Proven industry experience in the medical devices or pharmaceutical sector. A working knowledge and practical experience with ISO13485, 21CFR820, and other relevant standards.
