Job summary

Stadsbader NV is seeking skilled installers for industrial buildings, working with prefab concrete elements or steel structures. You will assemble on various Belgian sites, often at height, prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the montage team, following safety rules, and traveling to different project locations. A background in construction and relevant certificates is required, with training opportunities provided by the Stadsbader Academy.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training in construction.
• Hold VCA, safe work at height, telehandler and height access platform certificates.
• Willingness to travel between multiple project sites.
• Good command of Dutch or English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel or prefab structures on construction sites.
• Work at heights with adherence to safety rules.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times on site.
• Attend installation meetings and report to the site supervisor montage.

The family company Stadsbader was founded in 1946 in Harelbeke. In the meanwhile, the company is directed by third generation Dominique Valcke.

The acquisitions of Deckx AO and Deckx EM in Dessel (2009), Van Maercke Prefab in Kluisbergen (2014) and BAM Contractors (2022) were a strong expansion of the specialisation segments and a reinforcement of the market position.

Today the group is daily active in about 250 construction sites in Belgian and the neighbouring countries.

Functieomschrijving

Samen met jouw team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het monteren van industriële gebouwen, bestaande uit prefab betonelementen of stalen constructies.

Wat behoort tot jouw takenpakket?

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het monteren van staal of prefab constructies op onze bouwwerven
• Je bent regelmatig werkzaam op hoogte - je hebt hier ervaring in en/of hebt geen schrik van hoogtes.
• Veiligheid op de werf is je grootste prioriteit, waarbij je erop toeziet dat de veiligheidsvoorschriften te allen tijde worden nageleefd.
• Je neemt deel aan het montageoverleg en rapporteert aan de ploegbaas montage.

• Je volgde een technische of beroepsopleiding, bij voorkeur richting bouw
• Je bent in het bezit van volgende attesten: VCA, veilig werken op hoogte, verreiker en hoogwerker.
• Je verplaatsen naar verschillende projectlocaties is geen probleem voor jou.
• Flexibiliteit ten opzichte van werktijden is een vereiste.
• Technisch inzicht en probleemoplossend denkvermogen typeren jou.
• Je bent communicatief, verantwoordelijk en een echte teamplayer.
• Je spreekt goed Nederlands of Engels.
