JOB TALENT is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Planner who will prepare, plan, and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities on the production floor while maintaining a strong hands-on presence.

The role requires a very strong mechanical background and prior experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner or Work Preparation Engineer; SAP PM/MM experience is an advantage, and knowledge of other ERP systems is welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background with hands-on experience on the production floor.
• Experience as Mechanical Maintenance Planner or Work Preparation Engineer is essential.
• SAP PM/MM experience is an advantage; other ERP systems are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and plan preventive and scheduled mechanical maintenance activities.
• Schedule maintenance work safely and efficiently, prepare work permits, and define the correct sequence of tasks.
• Ensure availability of materials, spare parts, and contractors in coordination with purchasing and warehouse departments.
• Develop weekly maintenance schedules and shutdown plans with the Maintenance Manager.
• Monitor work orders, register completed activities, and close administrative tasks accurately.
• Manage maintenance administration in SAP PM/MM.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage; other maintenance/ERP systems are also welcomed.

The Mechanical Maintenance Planner is responsible for preparing, planning, and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities while maintaining a strong hands‑on presence on the production floor and working closely with technicians. The role requires a very strong mechanical background and previous experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner or Work Preparation Engineer, as practical field experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan preventive and scheduled mechanical maintenance activities.
• Schedule maintenance work safely and efficiently, prepare work permits, and define the correct sequence of tasks.
• Ensure the timely availability of materials, spare parts, and contractors in coordination with the purchasing and warehouse departments.
• Develop weekly maintenance schedules and shutdown plans together with the Maintenance Manager.
• Monitor work orders, provide feedback, register completed activities, and ensure accurate administrative closure.
• Manage maintenance administration in SAP PM/MM.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage, but experience with other maintenance or ERP systems is also welcomed as SAP can be learned.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and safety.
• Act as backup for the Maintenance Manager when required.
