PROMAN Jobs Pelt in Lommel is seeking a Mechanical Utilities Technician to maintain and operate our facility systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, water and gas installations, read drawings, calibrate equipment, and work day shifts with a 2-out-of-6 weekend rotation.

The successful candidate holds a technical diploma in mechanics, electromechanics or electricity, and can work independently or in teams, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work accurately, independently and in a team.
• Willingness to attend mid-week training sessions.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or utilities systems is a plus.

Description du poste

As a Mechanical Utilities Technician, you are responsible for the technical maintenance and operation of the facility systems that keep our factory running. You work in day shift and, according to the planning, you take responsibility for 2 out of every 6 weekends.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, water, and gas installations
• Assembling, disassembling, and replacing mechanical and electrical components
• Analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation
• Executing and monitoring calibrations
• Recording all completed work in our systems
• Collaborating with fellow technicians, engineers, and other departments
• Contributing to improvement projects within the Utilities department
• Working safely and following all quality guidelines

Profiel

• A technical diploma in mechanics, electromechanics, or electricity
• Experience as a technician is an advantage
• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and as part of a team
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Willingness to attend several mid‑week training sessions
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or experience with utilities systems is a strong plus
