To support our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you play a crucial part in the development of our innovative agricultural machines and work closely with fellow engineers and assembly technicians to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities
- After an in-depth internal training, you will be involved in the development of Hyler harvesting machines.
- You design new machines according to a defined project plan and technical scope.
- You work closely with fellow engineers and subcontractors on design, hydraulics, and control systems.
- You follow up on the construction of your designs and test them together with your colleagues.
- You monitor the cost of the design and make adjustments where necessary.
- You support technicians during the assembly of prototypes and test the mechanical components yourself.
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design and Production Technology.
- You already have initial work experience.
- Affinity with the agricultural sector is a plus.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of English is an advantage.
- You think analytically and solution-oriented, and you can translate needs into technical solutions.
- You work accurately and independently, while valuing teamwork.
- Experience with serial production is a plus.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is an asset.
