TMC Belgium is seeking a Material Planner to oversee the flow of materials across our production and supply chain network. You will develop planning strategies balancing customer service, efficiency and inventory investment, and own improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain performance.

You will manage material requirements, supplier coordination and analytics, working closely with internal teams and partners to improve coordination, visibility and reliability across material flow.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field with 5+ years in material planning.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Hands-on SAP experience and advanced Excel.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Analytical and stakeholder management skills with a proactive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Manage material requirements, replenishment, and supplier coordination to support uninterrupted production.
• Analyze inventory performance and reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
• Lead supply chain projects focused on process standardization, automation, digitalization, and ERP/SAP improvements.
• Monitor and improve planning-related performance indicators, including service level, OTIF, and working capital efficiency.
• Conduct supply chain risk and scenario analyses and develop responses to potential disruptions.

As a Material Planner, you will oversee the flow of materials throughout the production and supply chain network, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time. You will work on the development of planning strategies that balance customer service, operational efficiency, and inventory investment. The role combines daily operational planning with ownership of improvement initiatives that strengthen supply chain performance. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to improve coordination, visibility, and reliability across the material flow.

• Manage material requirements, replenishment activities, and supplier coordination to support uninterrupted production.
• Analyze inventory performance and implement actions to reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
• Lead supply chain projects focused on process standardization, automation, digitalization, and ERP/SAP improvements.
• Monitor and improve planning-related performance indicators, including service level, OTIF, and working capital efficiency.
• Conduct supply chain risk and scenario analyses while developing appropriate responses to potential supply disruptions.

What we expect from you:

• Degree in supply chain, logistics, materials, engineering or realted field, with at least 5 years in material planning, production planning, supply planning, or a related supply chain function.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, forecasting, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system, combined with advanced Excel skills.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch AND English.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and continuous-improvement mindset.
