BDO Belgium is seeking a Manager Daily Banking to lead transformative banking operations, improving back-office efficiency and customer onboarding experiences with a focus on digital innovation. You will guide projects, mentor juniors, and collaborate with clients on new opportunities and RFPs to expand BDO's market footprint.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in banking, consulting, or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of customer servicing, back‑office operations, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Experience with near‑ and offshoring strategies.
• Expertise in electronic identification & authentication (ItsMe, eIDAS).
• Understanding ESG impact on customer relations and regulatory gap analyses.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
• Native level Dutch or French with very good proficiency in the other and fluency in English.
• Experience opening conversations with clients on new projects and coordinating large RFPs.
• Ability to guide less experienced colleagues on projects.

• Optimizing back-office operations: Streamlining processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Enhancing customer onboarding journeys: Incorporating AML & ESG criteria to ensure seamless onboarding experiences.
• Streamlining new product acquisition processes: Simplifying account opening and card creation procedures.
• Improving customer support processes: Enhancing support services to meet evolving customer needs.
• Driving digital transformation: Leveraging new technologies for eID verification, digital identity wallets, and authentication.
• Leading projects and change management activities: Guiding successful transformations and mentoring junior consultants.
• Proactively seeking new clients and projects: Collaborating with clients and participating in the sales process to expand our footprint in the market.

What do you bring to the table?

We're seeking candidates who:

• Have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking, consulting, or a related industry.
• Possess strong knowledge and experience in customer servicing, back‑office operations, and customer on & offboarding.
• Have experience with preparing & implementing near‑ & offshoring strategies.
• Demonstrate expertise in electronic identification & authentication (e.g., ItsMe, eIDAS).
• Understand the impact of ESG on customer relations and can conduct gap analyses for regulatory compliance.
• Excel in analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Exhibit strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Are fluent in Dutch or French as a native language, with very good proficiency in the other and fluency in English.
• Have experience in opening conversations with clients on new project opportunities and coordinating large RFPs.
• Can support and guide less experienced colleagues during projects.
