BDO Hasselt is seeking a Manager Accountancy to lead a team of professionals and act as a strategic financial partner for ambitious SMEs and large companies. You will drive client partnerships, coach talent, develop projects, and share expertise through seminars and publications, while fostering growth and a culture of respect and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a finance degree, ITAA certification, fluent Dutch and English, and a proactive, network-building mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Economics.
• Fluent Dutch and strong English; French is a plus.
• Natural leader with proactive, client-focused and pragmatic approach.

• Driving new business opportunities by actively participating in developing projects and services
• Sharing expertise through seminars, conferences, and publications

What do you bring to the table?

You’re looking to make a difference, we’re looking for the following elements to help you get there.

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role or environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Economic
• ITAA certification is a plus (we support your journey)
• Fluent Dutch and strong English; French is a plus
• Natural leader who's proactive, client-focused, and pragmatic
• Familiarity with the Hasselt region and a natural ability to broaden your network
