Agristo in Wielsbeke, Belgium, is seeking a preventive maintenance technician who is passionate about ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machines and installations, with the goal of maximum uptime.

You will follow strict guidelines for a safe and orderly environment, anticipate issues before they cause downtime, perform inspections, lubrications and replacements, collaborate with operational teams to optimise the maintenance plan, mentor trainees, and keep precise records in Ultimo.

Qualifications

• Must have a practical background in maintenance of food processing equipment.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections and adjustments.
• Experience with maintenance software (Ultimo) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Identify potential problems before breakdowns and report observations to minimise unscheduled downtime.
• Carry out planned maintenance tasks, such as inspections, lubrications, adjustments and replacements.

• Provide support to external collaborators and mentor technical trainees and new employees.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work carried out, using the maintenance software (Ultimo).

As a maintenance technician, you're passionate about ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machines and installations. Your objective? To ensure smooth operation and minimise downtime.

• Set an example by following the prescribed guidelines and procedures for a (food) safe, environmentally friendly and orderly working environment.
• As a technician, you recognise potential problems before they cause breakdowns. You report these observations accurately, enabling us to act proactively and minimise unscheduled downtime.
• You carry out planned maintenance tasks, such as inspections, lubrications, adjustments and replacements.
• You will work closely with our operational teams and your technical colleagues to optimise the maintenance plan.
• You will provide the necessary support and follow-up to external collaborators to ensure that their contribution is effective and efficient. In addition, you will mentor technical trainees and new employees to help them progress in their role.
• You will keep accurate records of maintenance work carried out, using the maintenance software (Ultimo).
