ENGIBEX, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, seeks a maintenance engineering specialist to optimize maintenance strategies and ensure continuity of operations across industrial installations.

The role requires a degree in electromechanics or energy technology, fluency in Dutch and good English for reporting to international colleagues. You will analyze data, define preventive, predictive and RCM approaches, and lead improvements in utility systems.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in electromechanics, energy technology, or equivalent.
• Fluent Dutch (floor language) and good English for reporting and international communication.
• Experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, water, compressed air, steam, electricity, sprinklers).
• Experience with RCM, RCA and performance management.
• Analytical, results-driven, collaborative and proactive.

Responsabilités

• Analyse maintenance and failure data (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
• Develop, draft and adjust maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM).
• Safeguard the continuity and quality of the maintenance process.
• Identify and implement performance improvements for utility installations.
• Create lists of critical spare parts.
• Provide support for Root Cause Analyses (RCA) after breakdowns.
• Owner and executor of MOCs.
• Act as the technical point of contact for modifications or renewals of installations.
• Contribute to tenders and supplier selection for maintenance services.
• Document technical standards/instructions and optimise work processes.
• Collaborate with operational teams for continuous improvement.
