Hand Picked Hotels’ St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Guernsey is seeking a Maintenance Assistant. You will keep a luxury hotel beautifully maintained, safe and welcoming, blending proactive upkeep with reactive maintenance.

This full-time role is 5 days out of 7, typically around 40 hours per week, with weekends on a rota. The pay starts at £15/hour plus service charge and colleague benefits, with enhanced opportunities for training and development.

What will the role involve?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel remains a beautifully maintained, safe and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues. Your work will combine a blend of proactive upkeep and reactive maintenance, helping us protect the integrity of our property and its facilities.

You will:

• Carry out general maintenance across the hotel and staff accommodation, caring for the spaces as though they were your own.
• Coordinate and complete scheduled health and safety checks, ensuring the hotel meets all regulatory standards and reflects the high quality expected from a luxury Hand Picked Hotel.
• Contribute to delivering an outstanding guest experience through maintaining facilities to the highest possible standard.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis, typically around 40 hours per week, with potential variations based on business needs. Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.
