Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Project MANAGER – Machine vision in Bonheiden, Belgium. You will lead the design, deployment, and support of custom machine vision systems across Europe, coordinating timelines, budgets, and customer requirements.

You will ensure production-ready solutions and maintain post-deployment support and satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams, vendors, and customers, plus travel up to ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Computer Engineering.
• A few years of hands-on experience in project coordination or management.
• Experience in an international/European environment is a strong plus.
• PMBOK, PRINCE2, PMI or PMP certificate.
• Comfortable using MS Project.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project planning and day-to-day coordination.
• Keep timelines, budgets, and priorities aligned as projects progress.
• Schedule stakeholder meetings and manage project documents (plan, budget, schedule, scope).
• Maintain contact with internal teams and external partners across Europe.
• Track progress and intervene early if risks arise.
• Define scope with customers and sales leadership for machine vision projects.
• Ensure alignment with Catalyx and industry standards and meet requirements.
• Handle project administration such as billing and bookkeeping.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to deliver tasks and deliverables.
• Analyze procedures, propose improvements, and support documentation creation.
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination.
